The Importance of Quickly Hiring Experts - Steve Campora
About the PG&E Gas Explosion Case -
The case arose from PG & E’s failure to properly repair a gas leak in the front yard of a home in Rancho Cordova. PG&E’s repairman used improper pipe to make the repair. The improper pipe separated from a coupling and allowed natural gas to migrate into the nearby home. On December 24, 2008, as a family was getting ready to attend Christmas Eve dinner, the gas inside the home exploded and leveled the home. The explosion resulted in the death of the family patriarch and severe injuries and burns to his daughter and granddaughter. The amount of the settlement is confidential.
